It all started with ignoring my dad as he took me on shoots and spouted technical information at me—I did think the dark room was magical. Fast forward a decade, to Hurricane Katrina, when I took photos of destruction with a light-leak riddled Pentax.
Eventually I figured out that I enjoy the childlike whimsy and glamour that can be found all around us. Sometimes we have to dig a little and pull it out of people, but it is there.
I currently reside in Waveland, MS with my husband, children, and dogs. I also love opossums, dancing and sparkles.
